BILOXI, Miss. (WLOX) – Two hallways of the second floor of the IP Casino Resort Spa are decked out for the fifth annual Wreaths of Hope.
18 different non-profits have each decorated their own wreath that displays what their charity represents.
While this adds a nice holiday feel to the casino, it’s a contest as to who has the best decorated wreath.
That’s where you come into play. You have until December 17 to cast your vote.
You can do it online through the Wreaths of Hope IP Facebook page or online at the Boyd Gaming website.
Boyd Gaming Marketing Regional Vice President Kim Goetz says, “It’s really great to see the charities get as involved as they are. They send a lot of their people down to take a look and see the hard work they put into these wreaths. We also get a lot of our customers that look forward to it every year coming out and seeing what these charities have put up for us.”
With more than ten thousand dollars in the prize pool, everyone’s vying for the first-place prize of $3,000 cash.
Of course, there’s second, third, fourth, and fifth place, but all runners-up will receive $150 cash.
The winners will be announced on Friday, December 20.
