The Boys and Girls Club of Live Oak County is getting ready to host its annual Casino Night Fundraiser on Saturday, June 21, at Katzfey Ranch, with doors opening at 5 p.m. This much-anticipated event will raise funds for both the George West and Three Rivers club locations.

Tickets have sold quickly, with individual tickets sold out and only one table of 10 still available. No tickets will be sold at the door.

Guests will enjoy a three-hour casino experience, complete with Texas Hold ’Em, blackjack, roulette, craps, and slot machines. The evening also includes a dinner, live music, a DJ, raffles, and games of chance.

Exciting prizes are up for grabs, including a guided bay fishing trip, firearms, a turkey hunt, and more.

All proceeds will help reduce membership costs and expand youth opportunities in the areas of academic achievement, health, and social recreation.

“This is our only major fundraiser of the year,” said Executive Director John Corkill. “It’s an evening of fun with a purpose – to provide operational and programming expenses for the club’s afterschool, summer, and athletic programs, which currently serve more than 400 students annually.”

A large number of local sponsors have stepped up to support the event, and the Club extends its heartfelt thanks to all who have contributed. For more information or to inquire about sponsorship opportunities, contact Executive Director John Corkill at 936-661-6554. “The support we receive from sponsors, community members, and attendees truly helps us make a difference in the lives of local children,” Corkill said.
