Everclear will perform at the Agua Caliente Resort Casino Friday.
The alternative rock band from the Pacific Northwest has been active for more than three decades, known for hits such as “Father of Mine” and “Santa Monica.”
Art Alexakis, the only founding member of the band remaining, is joined by Dave French, Freddy Herrera and Brian Nolan to complete the current lineup.
Everclear shot to popularity in the 1990s and early 2000s, reeling off a string of three consecutive RIAA-certified Platinum albums. The third album in the trio, a power-pop project titled “Songs from an American Movie Vol. One: Learning How to Smile,” climbed into the top 10 of the Billboard Top 200.
The foursome has been particularly busy in recent weeks, playing shows across the country. After their 8 p.m. concert in the Coachella Valley, Everclear is scheduled to play an additional show in Porterville before performing in the Midwest and Texas.
