CHOCTAW, Miss. (WTOK) – Associates at Pearl River Resort and Bok Homa Casino raised money during October to support breast cancer awareness. A check of $11,618 was presented to the Mississippi chapter of the American Cancer Society.
The Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians said employees participating in the campaign wore pink t-shirts and buttons during Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Associates also wrote messages of hope on pink ribbons to adorn the windows of the Silver Star Casino promenade and the entrance of Bok Homa Casino.
