Leading Korean foreigner-only casino operator Paradise Co reported casino revenue of KRW71.9 billion (US$51.2 million) in November, up 31.3% year-on-year and 15.5% higher than in October, according to information filed with the Korea Exchange.
The November figure included a 16.7% sequential improvement in table games revenue to KRW67.5 billion (US$48.1 million) while machine revenue remained flat at KRW4.45 billion (US$3.17 million).
Table drop of KRW578.6 billion (US$412 million) was up 6.7% on October and 6.1% compared with the same period in 2023.
Casino revenues for the first 11 months of 2024 combined remain up 10.1% year-on-year to KRW748.2 billion (US$533 million) on a 13.2% improvement in drop to KRW6.33 trillion (US$4.51 billion).
Paradise, which recently revealed plans to develop a luxury hotel in Seoul and upgrade its VIP gaming areas to improve its appeal to international guests, operates four casinos in Korea including integrated resort Paradise City in Incheon – a joint venture with Japan’s Sega Sammy – plus casinos in Seoul, Busan and Jeju.
