Biloxi, MS, December 18, 2024 – Team members from Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Biloxi recently gathered at Biloxi’s National Cemetery to lay over 17,000 wreaths in a heartfelt tribute to the nation’s veterans.
This annual event, which has been a tradition for the past twelve years, reflects the deep connection many team members have with the military, as they live on the Mississippi Gulf Coast.
The initiative aims to honor those who have proudly served the nation, ensuring that their sacrifices and service are remembered during the holiday season. The laying of wreaths is not just a ceremonial act; it is a powerful reminder of the courage and dedication exhibited by veterans throughout history.
“Living on the MS Gulf Coast, most employees have a connection to the military and want to honor those who proudly served our Nation,” said Todd Raziano, Regional Vice President and General Manager of Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Biloxi. “This sentiment resonates deeply within the community, as many team members have family members or friends who have served in the armed forces.”
The event is part of a larger movement to recognize and celebrate the contributions of veterans, particularly during a time of year that emphasizes gratitude and remembrance. By participating in this event, Hard Rock Biloxi team members demonstrate their commitment to honoring the legacy of those who have fought for freedom and justice.
As the wreaths were laid, the atmosphere was filled with respect and reverence, with employees taking a moment to reflect on the significance of their actions. The sight of the wreaths adorning the graves serves as a poignant reminder of the sacrifices made by countless individuals in service to their country.
Hard Rock Biloxi’s participation in this event underscores the company’s dedication to community involvement and support for veterans as they “Love All, Serve All.” By coming together to honor those who have served, Hard Rock team members not only pay tribute to the past but also inspire future generations to remember and appreciate the sacrifices made for their freedom.
In addition to the wreath-laying ceremony, Hard Rock Biloxi team members also adopted ten children from CASA of Harrison County this holiday season. The employees bought everything from their wish lists and filled red and green Santa sacks that will be placed under their trees for Christmas morning.
