Casino game supplier Zitro has installed its first Wide Area Progressive (WAP) in Argentina.
Over 45 of the company’s Altius Glare cabinets have been installed in five gaming halls at the Hipódromo de Palermo casino.
The cabinets are all in-built with Zitro’s Mighty Hammer Ultimate title.
The WAP has been launched alongside a shared jackpot called Mega Pozo Mighty Hammer, which starts at ARS50m (£38,870).
“The launch of our first WAP in Argentina is a very important milestone for Zitro, as it confirms our company as a supplier of machines for WAPs,” said Alejandra Burato, regional director in LatAm for Zitro.
Zitro and the Hipódromo de Palermo marked the installation with a Noche de Palermo event which included a live performance by Argentinian band Los Totora.
“Attending the inauguration event and seeing firsthand how our products connect with players has been a pleasure, providing a unique and different entertainment experience in the region,” Burato added.
