WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) – 4:40 p.m. Update: Three people were seriously hurt in a crash near the Kansas Star Casino Sunday afternoon.
Around 2:30 p.m., multiple agencies responded to the intersection of E 119th St. and S Hillside, where they found one person trapped inside the car and two others hurt.
Upon investigating, authorities said a pickup truck was southbound on Hillside when the driver ran a stop sign and sideswiped the car heading west on K-53.
Three people inside the car were taken to a Wichita hospital for serious injuries. The driver of the pickup truck suffered minor injuries.
Multiple people are hurt after a crash in Mulvane near the Kansas Star Casino.
The crash happened around 2:30 p.m. at 119th St. S and Hillside. The Mulvane Fire Department is asking drivers to avoid the area while crews assist with the crash.
