FRESNO, Calif. (FOX26) — A woman has been hospitalized following a shooting at the Tachi Palace Casino Resort in Lemoore.
Kings County Deputies say the suspect shot a girl in her 20s, in the parking lot at the casino.
They say she has been airlifted to a nearby hospital.
Tachi Palace Casino Resort in a statement says there was a domestic dispute between the victim and the suspect.
Fresno Police Department says following the shooting, the suspect headed towards Fresno.
Officers say they were notified by Kings County Sheriff’s, and we’re able to find the suspected vehicle.
They say they tried to pull the suspect over but he refused to stop.
They say he eventually did stop right at Hamilton Avenue, just eat of Cedar Avenue, where he shot himself.
Officers say the suspect was taken to the hospital, where he is in critical condition.
Fresno Police say Kings County Sheriff’s is taking over the investigation.
