The Navajo Nation is set to expand its gaming presence in Arizona with the development of a second casino near Flagstaff. This project follows the federal approval of a 13.79-acre land transfer into trust in November 2024, clearing a major hurdle for the tribe’s gaming expansion. The casino will be called The Lower 89 Project.
