South Korean mobile game company NHN Corporation has launched its social casino game Pebble City on Sui.
Developed by NHN’s web3 division, Pebble City is described as a social gaming experience combining the best of mobile gaming and web3, with its NFTs and STBL token based on Mysten Labs’ Sui blockchain.
Setting out to resolve the “lack of synergy between web3 and gaming“, NHN’s partnership with Sui dates back to 2023. With Pebble City mainly designed for mobile gamers without prior blockchain knowledge, it’s leveraging Sui’s large-scale gaming infrastructure to integrate web3 in an intuitive way.
In terms of the game itself, players can use their Casino Membership NFTs to explore multiple virtual casinos, participate in exclusive community games, and earn various in-game rewards. Every casino game offers a chance to win Stars, which can either be spent in-game or be converted into STBL tokens.
