The Michigan Gaming Control Board (MGCB) has issued cease-and-desist orders to 11 illegal online gambling operators accused of targeting Michigan residents without proper authorization.

The casinos ordered to cease targeting state residents are Club Player Casino, 7 Bets Casino, NinBet Casino, Cherry Jackpot Casino, PitBet, SlotsNBets, Bookmaker.eu, Wild Vegas Casino, VIP Slots Casino, Prism Casino, and ABC Islands Casino. Some are offshore, others are based in unknown or domestic locations, said the MGCB.

“These sites are operating illegally and without proper oversight, putting Michigan players at risk,” said Henry Williams, Executive Director of the Michigan Gaming Control Board. “We’re committed to shutting down unlicensed gambling operations and protecting the public from deceptive practices, unfair play, and financial harm.”

The MGCB said these sites accept bets using credit cards, digital wallets, and cryptocurrency. Players report withheld winnings, blocked withdrawals, and unfair rules. Since these sites are not regulated, there is no guarantee of fair play or protection.

These illegal operators also lack proper data security. Players who use them risk exposing their personal and financial information to hackers, identity thieves, and cybercriminals.

The MGCB has formally notified all 11 operators to immediately cease offering gambling services to Michigan residents. Each entity has been given 14 days to comply. Continued violations could result in additional enforcement measures, including legal action in coordination with the Michigan Attorney General’s Office.

“This should serve as a strong warning to illegal operators: Michigan does not tolerate unauthorized gambling activity,” Williams said. “We will continue our relentless pursuit of actively identifying and disrupting these operations.”

The MGCB urges residents to use only licensed gambling sites, which are listed at Michigan.gov/MGCB. To report illegal gambling, call 1-888-314-2682 or email [email protected]
