Hitman: World of Assassination x Casino Royale crossover confirmed

IO Interactive is releasing more content for Hitman: World of Assassination, allowing players to hunt down and assassinate Le Chiffre from Casino Royale (2006). Mads Mikkelsen played Le Chiffre in the 2006 movie, which featured Daniel Craig’s cinematic debut as James Bond, and will return to play him in this DLC mission.

The mission is called The Banker, and can be played by everyone for free from now until 6 July, 2025. If players sign up for an IOI account and beat the mission, they’ll also be able to unlock a suit in IO Interactive’s next game: 007 First Light.

Here’s how the developer describes this DLC:

A recent failed venture left him in dire straits, losing vast sums of both legitimate and illicit capital, and in a desperate bid to recover, he has arranged a high-stakes poker game at the Casino Monarchique in Paris. Agent 47 has been tasked with infiltrating the perilous event and will have to find his way to his target to prevent havoc being wreaked across the world.

007 First Light follows an origin story for James Bond, as he embarks on a mission and earns his 007 title from scratch. The game launches sometime in 2026.
