Mass. casino winner: $2.50 bet won gambler jackpot prize

A slots player at MGM Springfield walked away a jackpot prize winner Thursday.

The player bet $2.50 on the game “Dragon Link.” The jackpot prize was worth $17,270.86.

Overall, there are over 1,500 slot machines at MGM Springfield.

In February, MGM Springfield paid out over $9,900,000 in jackpot prizes, the casino’s website states, while there were 56 jackpot prizes won in March. In April, people won $12,100,000 in prizes in different jackpot winnings at MGM Springfield. The largest slot machine prize in April was worth $105,383.65 from the game “Lightning Link.”

And in May, MGM Springfield paid out over $12,500,000 in jackpot prizes. The largest slot machine prize in May was worth $41,600 from the game “Video Poker.” It was won on May 9.
