Ryan Comstock (pictured), chief operating officer (COO) at Australia-listed slot machine maker Ainsworth Game Technology Ltd, has been elected new chair of casino industry trade body the Association of Gaming Equipment Manufacturers (AGEM). The vote was on Monday, said he association.

Mr Comstock previously served as AGEM treasurer and succeeds Robert Parente as chair for a two-year term. Mr Parente, executive vice president (EVP) and chief business development officer for gaming technology and content provider Light & Wonder Inc, remains on the AGEM board, this time as treasurer, a role he will hold for a one-year term. 

A one-year term on the AGEM board was also approved for Thomas Jingoli, EVP and COO, Konami Gaming Inc, as association secretary.

Additionally appointed as AGEM directors for a on-year term were:  Elaine Hodgson, president and chief executive of Incredible Technologies Inc; Luke Orchard, senior vice president, chief compliance and risk management officer, International Game Technology Plc; David Lucchese, EVP of sales, marketing and digital at Everi Holdings Inc; Lauralyn Sandoval, vice president of new markets at Aristocrat Gaming, a unit of Aristocrat Leisure Ltd; and Randy Gilbert, chief financial officer and chief operation officer, at Table Trac Inc.

AGEM represents manufacturers of electronic gaming devices, systems, lotteries, and components for the gaming industry.
