BILOXI, Miss. (WLOX) – Since COVID-19, Boomtown Casino has been without a buffet line. Now, that’s changing as the Biloxi Bay Buffet is set to open this spring.
Marketing Vice President Kyle Widdows says improving the buffet has always been an idea, and now is the time to bring it back to the Coast.

Widdows says, “Over the last five years, we’ve reimagined Boomtown. We took the old Boomtown, western feel and said, ‘How could we reimagine this for today’s customer?’ And now, we finally came back and said now we want to pay homage to the old Back Bay bonanza buffet and bring it back with a new style.”
Boomtown Marketing Manager Maddie Sellers says they’ve received multiple requests to bring back the buffet.
Sellers says, “We had a lot of feedback saying bring it back, bring it back, so we just want to make it the best experience for our guests.”
The new buffet will be bringing some changes but one thing that will remain the same is the crab legs.
Now, even more people will be able to enjoy them.
Widdows says, “We’ll have crab legs in here, I know that’s a favorite. One of the other pieces we get asked about often is are families invited. Absolutely. So, the property currently today is 21 and up, but when we reopen this buffet we will be converting that down to families will be welcomed again. So, we’re very excited there.”
Once completed, the Biloxi Bay Buffet will be a coastal all-you-can eatery with views overlooking the Back Bay.
As far as an opening date goes, Widdows says you never know with construction but to keep an eye out.
