Bossier Horseshoe Hotel Gets Multi-Million Update

In a not so surprising release, Horseshoe Casino in Bossier City just announced a major, multi-million dollar renovation to their hotel. If you remember back when Live! Casino owners the Cordish Companies revealed their new plans for the old Diamond Jacks location, there was much talk about how the existing properties in Shreveport and Bossier would have to “step up their game.”

And it seems Horseshoe is the first to do just that. Horseshoe has now started construction on a multi-million dollar renovation to the Horseshoe Hotel in Bossier that will include more than 600 hotel rooms that will be refreshed or remodeled, and will also include 12 penthouse suites on the top floor, and even a pet friendly floor.

“We want to offer our guests a new experience, something they can be excited about, and we think that they’re going to be enthusiastic about the refresh we’re doing to our rooms here at Horseshoe,” said Whitney Willingham, Senior Vice President and General Manager of Horseshoe Bossier City. “We appreciate everyone’s patience as we work through the construction; we can’t wait to show off the final product.”

There are also plans to renovate the hotel tower elevator landings and hallways. Construction on the renovations are currently underway and is being done in phases, but Horseshoe says there are rooms currently available for guests to stay. Horseshoe said construction is expected to be completed by this summer.
