“This launch reinforces our multi-brand online casino strategy by seamlessly bringing another one of our world-class Caesars brands into the palms of players’ hands.”

Online casinos launched in the Mountain State in 2020

West Virginia has an extensive history of gambling, including horse racing and land-based casinos.

In March 2019, West Virginia lawmakers also passed the West Virginia Lottery Interactive Wagering Act. This law legalized online casinos in the Mountain State.

The first online casinos launched in 2020. Among the state’s 10 online casinos include BetMGM, BetRivers, Caesars, DraftKings, Fanatics, FanDuel, and Golden Nugget.

Penn Entertainment may also add the Hollywood Online Casino WV to the list early next year.
