LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — A California resident is heading home with a little extra cash in their pocket.
The guest hit a whopping $544,702 jackpot after playing a Wheel of Fortune slot machine at the Fremont Hotel and Casino on Saturday, November 16.
Casino officials say the winner, who wanted to remain anonymous, wagered $1.25 on the machine. One of the lucky spins landed the guest three matching symbols, hitting the jackpot.

Officials add that the winning comes from a more than $891,000 jackpot at Fremont’s sister downtown property, The California, in August.
