Detroit’s three casinos have reported an aggregate monthly revenue of US$109.8m for April 2025.
$109.5m of this came from table games and slots, which is an increase of 1.5 per cent on the previous year. The three casinos paid $8.9m in gaming taxes to the state of Michigan through the month, as well as $13m in wagering taxes and development agreement payment to the City of Detroit.
$316,538 of the total revenue came from retail sports betting. The casinos reported a total retail sports betting handle of $9.4m. The casinos reported paying $20,276 in gaming taxes to the state and $24,781 in wagering taxes to the City of Detroit.
The March market shares were 47 per cent for MGM Grand Detroit, 30 per cent for MotorCity and 23 per cent for Hollywood Casino at Greektown.
