Detroit’s three casinos have reported an aggregate monthly revenue of US$98.8m for February 2025.
$98m of this came from table games and slots, which is a 6.4 per cent increase on the previous year. The three casinos paid $7.9m in gaming taxes to the state of Michigan through the month, as well as $11.7m in wagering taxes and development agreement payment to the City of Detroit.
$815,561 of the total revenue came from retail sports betting. The casinos reported a total retail sports betting handle of $8.2m. The casinos reported paying $30,828 in gaming taxes to the state and $37,679 in wagering taxes to the City of Detroit.
The February market shares were 47 per cent for MGM, 29 per cent for MotorCity and 24 per cent for Hollywood Casino at Greektown.
