The Hollywood Casino at The Meadows in North Strabane Township.
The Washington County Tourism Promotion Agency and Hollywood Casino at The Meadows were recognized recently with a Silver Telly Award for their BeetleBar promotion at the casino in North Strabane Township.
The award in the branded content for Travel & Tourism Campaign category recognized the Beetlejuice-themed pop-up bar that opened last September at the casino and continued through Halloween.
The Telly Awards honor excellence in video and television across all screens. Founded in 1979 to honor local, regional and cable television commercials, with non-broadcast video and television programming added soon after, the award has evolved with the rise of digital video to include branded content, documentary, social media, immersive and more. The Telly Awards annually showcases the best work created within television and across video, for all screens – receiving over 13,000 entries globally from six continents and all 50 states.
The BeetleBar campaign was a collaborative effort between the Washington County Tourism Promotion Agency, Hollywood Casino at The Meadows, professional actor John Dohanich who portrayed Beetlejuice, and regional influencers, including Caitlin Humienny, Krystal Deiuliis, Francesca Ferrante, Nelli Tokleh and Tori Daquelente.
