CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa — The Cedar Rapids City Council will hold a public hearing Tuesday evening for the proposed Linn County casino.
After the hearing, the council will vote on development agreement for the construction of the casino.
The developers would still need approval for a gaming license from the Iowa Racing and Gaming Commission in February for the casino to be built.
The council will also hold a hearing and vote on a development agreement for the renovation of the Higley Mansion.
The meeting starts at 4 p.m. Tuesday at City Hall on the third floor.
