A blackjack dealer at Rivers Casino employee is facing charges, accused of dealing hundreds of fraudulent hands.
State Police say 33-year-old Jamie Smith of Brighton Heights was seen on video surveillance by police and gaming enforcement agents overpaying patrons on winning and losing bets, not collecting money from lost bets or removing chips from a rack, during several series of hands.
Investigators say the incidents happened from October 26th through November 2.
Smith allegedly dealt 192 fraudulent hands resulting in a loss of nearly $22,000 for the casino.
Smith is charged with theft, conspiracy and manipulating a game of chance.
She has a preliminary hearing set for November 20.
