The Lakewood Ranch Community Foundation (LWRCF) is rolling out the red carpet for Casino Royale Night, a dazzling evening of gaming, glamour, and giving back on Tuesday, May 14, 2025, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. The event will take place at Gold Coast Eagle Distributing, located at 7051 Wireless Court, Lakewood Ranch.
This unforgettable night, designed with a 007 twist, will feature classic casino games, a lively open bar, gourmet hors d’oeuvres, and $500 in play money included with each ticket. Attendees can test their luck at blackjack, roulette, craps, and poker — with fabulous prizes awarded to the two highest-earning players.
🎟️ Tickets are $75 and can be purchased at www.LWRCF.org. All proceeds benefit the Foundation’s ambitious goal of raising $250,000 in honor of its 25th anniversary year.
A Legacy of Impact: 25 Years of Giving
Since its founding in 2000, the Lakewood Ranch Community Foundation has been dedicated to enhancing the quality of life in the greater Lakewood Ranch area. Through community-driven grantmaking and partnerships, the Foundation has awarded over $1.53 million to 140 local nonprofit organizations.
In 2024 alone, the Foundation provided vital support across a wide spectrum of causes — from education and foster care to disaster relief and food insecurity:
- Children’s Guardian Fund: Supported 111 tutoring sessions for foster children in Lakewood Ranch.
- Mark Wandall Foundation: Sponsored four children to attend grief support camp.
- Sea of Strengths Academy: Funded playground construction for a special needs school serving grades 2-9.
- Florida Cancer Specialists Foundation: Provided a year of essential non-medical aid to help a cancer patient avoid eviction.
- Feeding Empty Little Tummies: Supplied nearly 1,000 weekend food backpacks and received disaster relief funds post-Hurricane Milton.
The Foundation’s work also includes timely disaster response — such as the 2024 Disaster Relief Fund established after Hurricane Milton — which helped local nonprofits recover and continue their missions.
