Live! Casino & Hotel Maryland Supports Local Families for Thanksgiving
Earlier this week, Live! Casino & Hotel Maryland partnered with the Anne Arundel County Food Bank to donate over 300 turkeys to local families in need. The annual turkey donation event, held at the food bank, was made possible through the efforts of dozens of Live! Team Members who volunteered their time to transport turkeys and organize food donations ahead of Thanksgiving.
Addressing Food Insecurity in Anne Arundel County
According to Leah Paley, CEO of the Anne Arundel County Food Bank, over 61,000 residents in the county face food insecurity.
Providing celebratory meals for the holidays can be especially difficult and costly. We are grateful for our long-time partners at Live! Casino & Hotel Maryland, as we know we can always count on their support during the holidays as well as year-round. Their annual donation of hundreds of turkeys helps us make a special Thanksgiving meal a reality for many of the neighbors we serve.
