PETERSBURG, Va. (WWBT) – Live Casino & Hotel Virginia is already taking initiative to give back to the community as it prepares to become a reality.
Team members from The Cordish Companies and Bruce Smith Enterprise will join representatives from the City of Petersburg Department of Social Services to distribute more than 500 free turkeys to local residents.
The turkey giveaway, valued at more than $10,000, will take place on Monday, Nov. 25, from noon to 2 p.m. in the Petersburg Public Library’s parking lot.
Residents are invited to pick up a turkey on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last. There is a limit of one turkey per family. Residents can enter the parking lot, where they will be directed to the turkey pick-up location.
