Louisiana’s 15 river and land-based casinos totaled $156.8 million in revenue last month, as reported by the Louisiana Gaming Control Board, up 11.7% from January 2024’s $140.4 million.

Riverboats produced $138.6 million, up 14% from last year. Louisiana’s one land-based casino, Caesars New Orleans, reported $18.2 million in gross gaming revenue, down 2.7 percent year-over-year.

Riverboat casinos reporting more than $10 million in revenue in January included:

  • Golden Nugget Lake Charles – $24.2 million – up 6.4% year-over-year.
  • L’auberge Lake Charles – $23.1 million – up 13.4%
  • Margaritaville – $14 million – up 9.2%
  • L’auberge Baton Rouge – $13.2 million – down 2 %
  • Treasure Chest – $11.9 million – up 86.4%
