RENO, Nev. (KOLO) – Updated at 9:40 p.m.: A man was shot dead in front of the Silver Legacy Resort Hotel and Casino on Thursday, May 1, just before 8 p.m., according to the Reno Police Department.
When officers responded to West 4th and North Sierra streets, they found a dead body.
The suspect remains at large.
There is no threat to the public, the police said.
The Reno Police Department is investigating.
ORIGINAL ARTICLE: KOLO TV 8’s news videographer saw a covered body in front of the Silver Legacy Resort Hotel and Casino on the evening of Thursday, May 1.
The Reno Police Department blocked off part of West 4th Street between Virginia and Sierra in front of the casino after a deadly shooting.
The suspected shooter remains at large, according to police.
Reno Police are in the process of investigating.
