A Connecticut man bet $3.52 on a slots game at MGM Springfield Thursday. He walked away with a whole lot more.
The Farmington, Conn. man was identified by a MGM Springfield spokesperson as Tim O. He placed the $3.52 bet into the game Dancing Drums — Golden Drums on Thursday.
The jackpot prize was worth $10,862.41.
There are over 1,500 slot machines at MGM Springfield. In February, MGM Springfield paid out over $9,900,000 in jackpot prizes, the casino’s website states. And in March, MGM Springfield paid out over $13,500,000 in jackpots.
Players must be 21 years or older.
There were more than 55 jackpot prizes won in March. The largest slots prize won in March was worth $110,918.46. It was won on March 10 playing the game Lightning Link.
