Mohegan Sun guest wins $627,479 playing ‘Squid Game’ slot machine

Last Saturday, a casino guest won the jackpot while playing the new Light & Wonder “Squid Game” slot machine, located in the Casino of the Sky.

UNCASVILLE, Conn. — Last weekend, a Mohegan Sun guest enjoyed an Easter weekend in Connecticut they will remember for a lifetime.

On Saturday, April 19, one lucky individual won a $627,479 jackpot after placing a $10 bet on the new Light & Wonder “Squid Game” slot machine, according to a report from the casino.

The slot machine in the Casino of the Sky is based off the popular Netflix series “Squid Games.” It made its first appearance at Mohegan Sun last December and has quickly grown in popularity over the past several months.

The casino says that the slot machine features iconic games from the hit series, including Red Light, Green Light; Tug of War; and The Glass Tile.

There are nearly 1,600 slot games in Mohegan Sun’s Casino of the Sky, which has a high-limit lounge. The space includes the world’s largest, fully functioning planetarium dome inside VISTA Lounge at Wombi Rock.

Casino of the Sky is also where guests can find Mohegan Sun’s most popular slot area, the Hold & Spin Slot Zone, which is home to over 250 slot games with the Hold & Spin bonus feature.
