The CEO of War Horse Casino, Lance Morgan, took to Facebook to voice his frustrations about the impact of recent tariffs, which he says could slow down the expansion plans for his business. Morgan highlighted the significant financial burden these tariffs have already placed on War Horse Casino, saying tariffs cost him $3 million in just two days.

Morgan explained that the tariffs are driving up the costs of essential equipment, including slot machines. These machines, which cost around $30,000 each, have become more expensive depending on their country of origin — either Japan or China. As a result, the casino’s expansion plans, which include opening a new location in South Sioux City and expanding operations in Lincoln and Omaha, are now at risk.
