One year after breaking ground on a $1 billion casino project, the Catawba Two Kings Casino in Kings Mountain is showing significant progress with construction on schedule for its spring 2026 opening.
The massive development, which can’t be missed by people traveling through the area, represents one of the largest private investments in Cleveland County’s recent history.
“We’re already making an impact, you know, not only in Cleveland County, but also making an impact for our nation,” said Trent Troxel, vice president of the Catawba Nation Gaming Authority.
The introductory phase of the casino will feature more than 1,300 slot machines and 22 table games when it opens to the public.
