MARKSVILLE, La. (KALB) – Paragon Casino Resort has welcomed a new member to its team in The Draft Room, the Servi Plus robot.
The Servi Plus robot, named “ONTI,” is designed by BearRobotics and powered by AI.
Paragon Casino Resort named the robot ONTI because it means “friend” in Tunica and “bear” in Biloxi.
ONTI is designed to increase efficiency, reduce turnover, minimize overhead costs and streamline services. The robot seats guests, provides guests with menus and helps deliver food and beverages to guests to provide faster, more reliable service.
Marshall Ray Sampson, Sr., the general manager for Paragon Casino Resort, said that the Servi Plus robot will be beneficial for the Draft Room staff, allowing them to be “laser-focused on a more intimate, personalized touch for guests.”
