Lunar New Year Lucky Lion Dancers
In celebration of the festival, Pechanga Resort Casino presents a splendid Lucky Lion Dancer performance on Saturday, February 1. Starting at 3pm, the Lion Dancer team, which symbolizes auspiciousness and good luck, will begin their performance at the Pechanga North Entrance and wind their way into the casino and through the casino floor. Guests will be given Red Packets to give to the Lion Dancers to wish for good luck and prosperity for the new year.
Lunar New Year Property Décor
The Lunar New Year festival symbolizes the fresh start of a new year, a renewal of everything. In celebration of the Year of the Snake, starting from mid-January for a month, Pechanga will decorate the entire property with traditional new year elements and designs for the Year of the Snake. Utilizing a wide array of bright lanterns, refined oriental-style garden bridge, beautifully bloomed peach blossoms, and much more to boost the festive atmosphere. Throughout the floor, you will be able to find countless photo-op spots for your selfies or family portraits, while capturing the stunningly displayed of the decorations.

‘Music Commander’ Guckkasten in Concert
Pechanga Resort Casino proudly presents the live concert of Guckkasten on Saturday, February 15 at 7pm exclusively at Pechanga Resort Casino’s Pechanga Summit, the resort’s expansive 60,000 square foot event space.
Guckkasten, also known as ‘live monster band,’ is returning to Southern California for the first time in four years. They gained the nickname from the fans who experienced their performance live and left completely shocked by their remarkable and otherworldly voice and sound.
Formed in 2007, Guckkasten became one of the most popular rock bands in Korea in a span of only 10 years. Guckkasten is best known for itsr lead vocalist, Ha Hyun Woo’s, distinguished vocal talent and their powerful and psychedelic music plays. Guckkasten gained national popularity and carved their name in everyone’s mind after Ha achieved the record of all-time longest-winning contestant of King of Mask Singer, serving as reigning king of the 22nd to 30th generations as ‘Music Commander in Town’ in 2016.
The band’s title songs include Mirror, SinkHole, Red, Tail, and Thief and they are one of the most active and sought-after bands in the festival scene in Korea. They recently wrapped their tribute concert for the late Shin Hae Chul.
