WHILE THEY WERE GAMBLING INSIDE. SIMILARLY, HERE A MAN LEFT AN 11 MONTH OLD CHILD UNATTENDED IN A VEHICLE IN THE PARKING GARAGE AT THE HOLLYWOOD CASINO AT PENN NATIONAL RACE COURSE FOR ABOUT 45 MINUTES. EIGHT PEOPLE WERE BANNED FOR FRAUDULENT ACTIVITIES, INCLUDING ONE PERSON WHO MADE 48 SEPARATE ONLINE ACCOUNTS IMPERSONATING OTHER PEOPLE. IN 14, OTHERS WERE PLACED ON THE LIST FOR OTHER SMALLER OFFENSES THAT SIMPLY ADDED UP. AFTER THE BOARD ANNOUNCED THESE BANS, THEY TOOK THE OPPORTUNITY TO REMIND PLAYERS THAT ADULTS ARE NOT PERMITTED TO LEAVE MINORS UNATTENDED ON THE CASINOS PROPERTIES. Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board bans 26 patrons from casinos or online gaming sites
The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board recently banned 26 people from casinos or online betting sites.Some of them left children unattended while they were gambling, while others committed fraud.The Board said the following people were placed on the Casino Involuntary Exclusion List for unattended minors:A patron left an 11-month-old child alone in a vehicle in the parking garage at Hollywood Casino at Penn National Race Course in Dauphin County for 45 minutes in 40-degree weather while he gambled on slot machines.Two patrons left three minors – ages 5, 7 and 9 – in a vehicle in the parking lot of Valley Forge Casino Resort for six minutes in 80-degree weather while they gambled at the sportsbook and on table games.A patron left a 13-year-old unattended in a vehicle in the parking lot at Live! Casino Philadelphia for 10 minutes in 75-degree weather while he gambled at the sportsbook.Fourteen others were placed on the exclusion list for various offenses.Since its inception, 1,269 people have been placed on the Casino Involuntary Exclusion List.Another eight patrons were added to the Involuntary iGaming Exclusion List for creating and accessing online accounts using the identifying information of other individuals, according to the Board.About the Pennsylvania Gaming Control BoardThe Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board oversees all aspects of gambling in the state, including 17 land-based casinos, online casino games, retail and online sports wagering and Video Gaming Terminals (VGTs) at qualified truck stops.
