A person was taken to the hospital after being shot at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Sacramento in Yuba County early Saturday morning, officials said. The Yuba County Sheriff’s Department said the shooting happened around midnight and deputies were already at the Casino when they heard the sound of gunshots coming from the parking lot. A person was found by deputies with a gunshot wound and was taken to Rideout Adventist Hospital. They are expected to survive their injuries, the sheriff’s department said. Detectives are investigating the shooting and trying to identify a suspect.
