EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEVV) — Authorities in Evansville are investigating multiple overnight vehicle robberies that were reported near Bally’s Casino.
EPD says around 2 a.m. on Friday, officers were called to the north parking lot of Bally’s Casino and Xcess for a theft report.
Officers arrived and found a black Ford Fusion with the rear window busted out. EPD says the owner of the vehicle told them his firearm was stolen out of the glove box. Officers noted there was visible damage to the handle of the glove compartment.
Around this same time, a separate victim told police their vehicle was also broken into.
Officers observed a blue Dodge Charger with the rear window busted out. The owner of that vehicle told EPD their firearm was also stolen from underneath the driver’s seat.
Both victims were given a case number. No arrests have been made.
