Pragmatic Play Ltd, a supplier to the iGaming industry, says it is bolstering its live casino offering with two new poker games: “Casino Hold’em” and “Jacks or Better Draw Poker”.

Casino Hold’em, described as the provider’s debut live poker title, launched on Wednesday (June 18), according to a press release on that same day.

In Jacks or Better Draw Poker, to be released in early July, “players are dealt five cards and choose to hold or discard any number of them with the aim of creating the best winning hand,” stated the brand.

In both games, players “have a chance to win up to 20,000 times with the jackpot side bet, which pays out on a straight, four of a kind, or straight flush on the flop,” according to the update.

“The max jackpot win is expected to hit every 45 days on average,” it added.

Pragmatic Play said both poker titles are “customisable” via the brand’s “Smart Studio” technology, enabling operators “to deliver branded environments and bespoke experiences for their players”.

Pragmatic Play has been expanding its market coverage for its Live Casino product range. The latter features an online live-dealer casino game portfolio.

Wednesday’s announcement cited Irina Cornides, Pragmatic Play’s chief operating officer, as saying that poker was “an exciting addition to Pragmatic Play’s live casino portfolio”.

She added: “Featuring fast-paced gameplay, jackpot wins of up to 20,000 times, and Smart Studio customisation, Casino Hold’em and Jacks or Better Draw Poker are set to bring a new dynamic to online casinos.”
