LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – The suspect accused of a deadly casino shooting and carjackings throughout the Las Vegas Valley is being reviewed for death penalty.
19-year-old Aerion Warmsley faces charges of murder with a deadly weapon, robbery and reckless driving. This stems from a deadly shooting at Aliante Casino in North Las Vegas on March 27 and multiple carjackings that followed afterward.
He would be eventually taken into custody near Sahara Avenue and Boulder Highway.
He was recently indicted by a grand jury. According to documents obtained by FOX5, a Clark County grand jury claims Warmsely willfully committed robbery and reckless driving. The jury also accuses him of killing Na’Onche Osborne, 23.
Wednesday, Warmsley was scheduled for an initial arraignment, but he did not appear in court. Court records say his case will appear before a death review committee.
His arraignment is continued to July 3.
