LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — Four locations of the restaurant chain TGI Fridays are closing at Las Vegas area casinos.
A spokesperson for Boyd Gaming said the TGI Fridays at The Orleans, Sam’s Town, Aliante and Gold Coast were shutting down, effective immediately.
These were the only four remaining TGI Fridays locations in the Las Vegas area.
No reason for the closures was given.
“We are already working on exciting new concepts for these spaces, and look forward to sharing more information on these concepts in the future,” a Boyd Gaming spokesperson said in an email.
The chain’s parent company filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in November, a decision that only affected corporate-owned restaurants.
Boyd Gaming confirmed the four locations were operated by TGI Fridays directly.
