A slot machine playing social media star who recently went viral for winning a $1 million jackpot is coming to Graton Resort and Casino.
Scott Richter, known by hundreds of thousands of online followers as The Big Jackpot, will meet with guests on the gaming floor at the Rohnert Park casino on Feb. 22 at 3 p.m., the casino announced in a Feb. 10 news release.
The meet and greet is free to attend.
Richter is known for posting daily videos of himself playing high limit slot machines at casinos across the country, with bets ranging from $50 to $5,000 per spin, according to his YouTube channel.
On Christmas Eve 2023, Richter won over $1 million when he hit the grand prize on a Dragon Link slot machine in Las Vegas. A video of his big win has been viewed more than 1.3 million times on YouTube.
Richter, an early online and email marketing guru, started The Big Jackpot channel in 2016 “to memorialize a pastime — high limit slot play” he wrote in a 2017 article on entreprenuer.com.
Since then he’s become a gambling influencer who is known for bringing high traffic to the casinos he visits, his friend and BlitzMetrics CEO Dennis Yu wrote last year.
For Saturday’s meet and greet, guests will be able to engage in one-on-one conversation with Richter and take a photo with him, according to Graton Resort and Casino spokesperson Robin Carr.
The resort also said on its website that the first 200 guests will receive a gift certificate for an undisclosed amount of free slot play.
