TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) – A Toledo woman faces charges after police say she left two children alone in a car that was not running or locked in below-freezing temperatures in a casino parking lot.
Shaneja Gamble, 22, is charged with endangering children after the kids were found in the vehicle on the third floor of the Hollywood Casino Toledo parking lot, according to police.
Officers say the temperature at the time was 26 degrees.
Jail records show Gamble was arrested shortly after 1:30 Sunday afternoon.
According to TPD, the children were found after casino security alerted an off-duty officer.
According to court documents, she is due to be arraigned Monday morning.
