The YMCA of Greenwich will host its annual Gala: Casino Royale – An Evening in Las Vegas on Saturday, May 9, 2025, at 6:00pm at the Greenwich Country Club.

This premier fundraising event brings together community leaders, supporters, and friends to raise critical funds for the YMCA’s programs and services.

This year’s honoree, Governor Ned Lamont, will be recognized for his dedication to Connecticut and the YMCA. A former Greenwich selectman and YMCA of Greenwich board member, Governor Lamont has been a steadfast advocate for community initiatives, with a focus on childcare, youth programs, and water safety. His leadership has made a lasting impact on families throughout the state.

An Evening of Impact & Entertainment

The Casino Royale theme will offer guests the opportunity to play classic casino games while supporting the YMCA. The event will include a cocktail reception, dinner, and a program highlighting the YMCA’s work in the Greenwich community. Attendees will hear firsthand how the YMCA’s initiatives continue to strengthen individuals and families through youth development, health and wellness, and community outreach.

In previous years, the Gala has drawn over 300 guests and raised more than $450,000 in support of local programs and services.

All proceeds from the Gala support the YMCA of Greenwich’s commitment to ensuring that everyone, regardless of financial circumstances, has the opportunity to benefit from its programs and services. Through financial assistance and subsidized offerings, the YMCA provides youth, family, and senior programming at little to no cost for those who qualify.

In addition, funds raised help sustain essential YMCA initiatives such as water safety and drowning prevention programs, quality childcare and early education, chronic disease prevention efforts, and more—empowering individuals of all ages to lead healthier, more fulfilling lives.
